This comes in a little tube that you can store it in after each use, after you clean it of course. You want to clean and sanitize it properly after each use by following the cleaning and maintenance section of the sheet enclosed with product.
Basically you bend the spring in a U shape and twist the handles back and forth. I highly suggest you do this in a quick manner so it doesn’t hurt as bad when it gets the hairs. I’m not going to lie, the area around your mouth hurts when you do this. If you want to lessen the pain, I would ice the area for a bit and then proceed and ice again as needed. It was considerably more tolerable doing it while icing and twisting quickly.
As an esthetician I was really intrigued by this item since it reminds me of the threading process. I typically wax or get dermaplaned so this was a bit new to me. I personally probably won’t use again because waxing is easier and faster for me but if a client asked about it I would recommend it if they were interested in trying it out.
