I haven’t made anything in a long time with shea butter so I was really excited to review this Majestic Pure Grade A Unrefined Organic Shea Butter. I was a bit worried it would arrive melted since I’m in Arizona and I know my mail person doesn’t arrive until the hottest part of the day. I can safely say this shea butter was NOT melted, it had some soft spots around the edges but nothing significant.
The opening… Its wrapped up quite nicely in paper and then placed in a snug box. It smells wonderful and isn’t overbearing at all some butters tend to be. It feels soft and emollient just as shea butter should. This raw and unrefined shea butter states its 100% organic certified and from Ghana, very high quality feel to it.
The test… Okay I had to see how it felt as a completed product, not that it’s not already complete but I wanted to make some whipped body butter with it. I opted for a simple whipped body butter with lavender and tea tree essential oils to help with my eczema spot on the front side of my ankle. It feels divine, no agitation whatsoever and the combination of scents is soothing and just right on the smell factor. I will definitely use this specific brand of shea butter again, I absolutely love it!
